Superintendent
Job Description
- Primarily responsible for on-site field planning, staffing and
supervising subcontractors and vendors
- Ensure successful completion of projects to meet time and cost
objectives with respect to self performed and subcontracted trade work
- Maintain Owner/Architect relationships
- Ensure that safety measures meet and exceed the safety policy
- Implement quality control policies at the job site
Responsibilities
- Assist in development of the initial project schedule and future updates
- Develop and maintain site utilization plan
- Participate with the Project Manager with the monthly reports, progress
payment Req., etc
- Ensure timely project completion through project scheduling
- Provide quality controls
- Provide and maintain safety procedure and controls for the site
- Proactively identify and solve problems with the site
Minimum Requirements
- 7 + years of experience as a Superintendent
- Proficient with personal computer based Scheduling software and Excel
- A 2-year degree in Construction Management or a related curriculum
